Toronto Soccer Fans to Relaunch
The more observant among you may have noticed that Toronto Soccer Fans has been dormant for some time.
Various work/life changes have meant that there was insufficient time to keep this site updated to the extent that it deserved.
The Home game on Saturday was an opener in more ways than one. An Eye Opener. The passion of the crowd was fanstastic to see, and was reflected by most of the team.
I am shortly relaunching this site as a suitable complement to that.

The Score to air Toronto MLS matches?
Sun 3rd Dec, 2006 9:13am - rumour
The Globe and Mail is reporting that the rapidly expanding ex-score-ticker channel 'The Score' is the frontrunner for broadcast rights to Toronto FC MLS matches.
The article doesn't give any backup to the idea, as it is primarily focused on the news that Score have wrested the EPL rights off Sportsnet, so I would be disinclined to put too much credence behind this. Rogers is still my most likely candidate for the games, not least due to the deal announced in september between Rogers and MLSE that would align them as a 'Platinum Sponsor', and the open tryouts were 'presented by Rogers'. As long as whoever ends up broadcasting doesn't use Tommy 'Onion Bag' Smythe, I'll be happy.
