Toronto Soccer Fans to Relaunch

The more observant among you may have noticed that Toronto Soccer Fans has been dormant for some time.
Various work/life changes have meant that there was insufficient time to keep this site updated to the extent that it deserved.

The Home game on Saturday was an opener in more ways than one. An Eye Opener. The passion of the crowd was fanstastic to see, and was reflected by most of the team. I am shortly relaunching this site as a suitable complement to that.

Just a follow up to yesterdays suggestion that a few shirts were floating around the Toronto sports stores.

TFC season ticket holders received an email saying the ACC had 100 shirts on a first-come first-served basis starting this morning at 10am, limit 2 per ticketholder. Indications suggest that these are flying out of the door into the waiting clutches of those who could make time to get down there on a weekday morning.

The email from Toronto FC said the club are expecting away kits to ship in January, and that today was an attempt to fill the christmas stockings of some of the hard-core. If away kits are due january, then it seems likely that more of the home will as well for those of us who were unable to snag one. This would contradict the shipping date I have had confirmed by more than one source of March 17th.

You know that this is a site just for TFC Fans news when this gets top billing, and Freddy Adu's transfer to RSL is mentioned as an afterthough at the bottom.
